The right and feasible workflow is critical to ensure the localization quality, we have formed our unique and useful workflow in our translation practice:
Understanding customer's requirements
Preprocessing documents
Translation and review Proofreading Project Delivery
Strict QA will be conducted on translator's and reviewer's work result to ensure our delivered files can meet clients' expectations, and our project manager will keep effective communications with clients during the whole localization process.
The steps in our workflow include:
1. Fully understand task, including the background of customers, the work requirements, deadline of the task, contacts of the customers, etc. 2. Preprocess the documents by experienced experts. The purpose is to summarize special considerations of the task and list detailed guidelines for translators. 3. Translate the files. During this process, translators are welcome to submit their uncertain issues to project manager at any time, this will help to improve the localization quality at the very start. 4. review those translated files and record typical errors found in QA report, this is helpful for translators to make progress from time to time. 5. Project managers do sampling QA on the edited files to ensure the final quality. 6. Project managers collect feedbacks from customers and give suggestions on how to imporove in future projects.
